Hildegard of Bingen (1098 – 17 September 1179), also known as Saint Hildegard and the Sibyl of the Rhine, is liken by some Hildegardians as the patron saint of creativity. The 12th-century abbess was a Christian mystic and visionary. She was also a musical composer, writer, and healer that created natural remedies widely used in Europe today.
